Bach - Prelude in C major, BWV 939

  

Johann Sebastian Bach was German composer and musician of the late Baroque period. Bach was known for his mastery of counterpoint and prolific output across a variety of instruments and musical forms.  


  • Born: March 31, 1685, in Eisenach, Germany.
  • Died: July 28, 1750, in Leipzig, Germany.
  • Contributions:  Johann Sebastian Bach was famous for being one of history's greatest composers, a master of Baroque music known for his complex, intricate works like the Brandenburg Concertos and The Well-Tempered Clavier.
