Schubert - Impromptu in B. Flat, Opus 142, #3

  

Franz Peter Schubert was a prolific Austrian composer famous for bridging the Classical and Romantic eras, particularly for his melodic and harmonious songs, chamber music, piano works, and symphonies, including the well-known "Ave Maria" and the "Unfinished Symphony".   


  • Born: January 31, 1797, near Vienna, Austria.
  • Died: November 19, 1828, also in Vienna.
  • Contributions: He was a pivotal composer in the transition from the Classical to the Romantic era, known for his prolific output in almost all musical genres, particularly his art songs (Lieder), symphonies, and chamber music.
