Clementi.- Sonatina #1, Opus 36

  

Muzio Clementi (or, in full, Muzio Filippo Vincenzo Francesco Saverio Clementi), who was a famous Italian-born British pianist, composer, and pedagogue known as the "father of the piano".


  • Born: January 23, 1752, in Rome, Italy.
  • Died: March 10, 1832, in Evesham, England.
  • Contributions: He developed piano techniques and compositions, established a music publishing firm, and taught many prominent musicians.
